A Propst Thanksgiving

Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving with Brad's family.  We were supposed to be heading to Florida later this week, but decided to push back our trip until March.  We will have a whole week to spend with  our favorite mouse!  Brad's parents are still heading to Florida this week to visit with friends.
We all gathered at Gammy and Pop-E's to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by my mother in law, and enjoyed a fun afternoon spending time with family.

Caroline fed Pop-E everything she did not want to eat.  She has become quite the picky eater these days.  I never thought I'd say that about her!!
Grant spent most of the lunch singing under the table.
Who needs Christmas music on the radio when we have our own live singer?!?

Caroline and Gammy licked her plate clean
Papaw Bob and Grandma Betty resting after lunch.
Our one and only attempt at a family picture
Fail!

Clearly our kids had better things they rather do with their time then to give us one {just one!!!!} good picture.  It's just a season of life, right?!

After lunch we decided to set up for Christmas.
How many Propst does it take to set up a Christmas tree??
A LOT, ha!

We didn't get all the way done before we had to pack up and head home, but I am sure it will look fabulous!

This sweet thang was such a great helper!
{I'm talking about Caroline! ;)}

Grant continued to serenade us, and what a wonderful job he did!

Pop-E took a post Thanksgiving meal nap.

Caroline got tired of helping so she found a spot to rest of her daddy's lap.

We said our good-byes and headed home.
Grant was asleep before we could get out of the neighborhood!

When we got home the race was finishing up.  We couldn't let Grant go to sleep when his favorite driver was on the verge of winning the race & Sprint Cup Championship!
Sadly, Carl Edwards came in 2nd...Maybe next year!!

We had a wonderful day.
We all have so much to be thankful for!!
