Or "snooothies" as Grant would say!

When Grant was born my mom gave me Jessica Seinfeld's Deceptively Delicious recipe book.  It teaches you all kind of tricks of how to hide veggies in your kids food.  Seriously, what a GENIUS idea!  From day one, Grant has never been a "good" veggie eater.  I used to hide pureed peas in his yogurt and carrots in his apple sauce.  He hates milk so really the only way he gets his daily calcium is from string cheese and yogurt.  I decided to try smoothies with him about a year ago, and it was a big FAIL.  He hated it!  I decided to give it one more go! This time it was a huge SUCCESS!

 We use Milk, Yogurt, Mixed Berries, and this time I decided to hide Baby Spinach in it!

He had no idea he was putting those once hated leafy green veggies in there

He LOVED it, and I was a happy momma!  Finally, he gets milk and veggies in one serving..and best of all there was no fight about it!

As an added bonus...these sweet cheeks loved it too!

Such a good idea! you're the third person this week saying they put spinach in their kid's smoothies!! I need to try this!
